Founded in 1877 as the Lucerne School of Arts and Crafts, the Lucerne School of Art and Design is today one of the leading addresses for art and design in Switzerland with over 700 students and its distinctive expertise in research and development.

The Lucerne School of Art and Design is the oldest art and design school in German-speaking Switzerland. Committed to 140 years of tradition, it also looks resolutely to the future.
